We got to see the church (Severin) and it was smaller than a lot of the churches the same age, but not as cold or severe-feeling as others we've been to. A service was going on in a side chamber while we explored and we could hear the chorus of their "Amen's" echo through the whole structure. (The picnic was cancelled, btw)

As we continued to look around the Latin Quarter, we basically ran into another bookstore; although it was just as crowded to the rafters with paperbacks as the other one, but unlike other dusty bookstores, literally every title I turned to, I wanted to read. There were about a bazillion books I wanted to take out of there! Kate and I had to drag ourselves away finally :) Then, after running into a few more quirky shops, we found a hidden garden area where we ate our packed pbj's. :D All in all, a perfect afternoon.
