Paris is...

Delicate wrought-iron railings in azure, rustic pink, and noir, cradling baskets of blooming flowers and encircling sky-high cream-washed apartements that were rebuilt with loving artist's eyes.

Simple pleasures-an aquaruim hidden in the middle of a garden with a breathtaking view of le Tour d'Eiffel surrounded by swirling multicolored leaves sighing their goodbyes to the huge monument.

A cute French boy saying hi after class :]

Cooking late-night pancakes with my sister while arguing with an unexpected French visiter who tells us about his best friend's wedding last week in Africa and wondering aloud what that English phrase, "Lord have Mercy" means. And trying to explain it to him as best we know how. And then giving him his first (slightly undercooked) pancake.

Cheers.
