New month, starting over on the budget! Yeah, love that. :)

In other news....
I need to start working out before I get fat. As simple as that. Stop sleeping, start lifting, that's my new motto. It's so hard when there's not a gym right there dangling at my fingertips...I'll totally start...tomorrow.

heh heh

nothing really new to report-we are officially kinda enrolled in classes-at least we're in the system. the French don't officially enroll ppl til two days after the English speaking classes start, ohhhhh the French. How funny thou art. And so far our schedule looks like we're only in school 3 days a week! Catch: 6 hours straight on 2 of those days. Some may look at that and think, "What a hellish schedule." I look and see...opportunity. I see three-day weekends. I see almost no 8am classes.....
Ohhhh please please please Kate keep me awake....it's hard enough to stay awake through philosophy class back home, and that's an hour and a half.

*cringe

How embarrassing. Who falls alseep regularly in class? I mean, besides the back row bums. It's like I'm...narcoleptic? Is that the disease where you get so excited your body shuts down and
you fall asleep?

Yeahhhh...that's it, I'm so excited about learning that my body can't take it and shuts down periodically, while the other, less unenthusiastic students have to throw paper at me to wake me up. Poor things.

(yeah right)

Well other than that I think Kate can finally rest--we did some major room renovation (well she did...I just put some stuff on my wall and a rug on the floor) and hers has transformed into a cream-and rose-colored paradise. She may be ok with her shower leaking, and her refrigerator shelf broken, but by God she will have matching curtains or else. (I follow the sentiment completely, although my bathtub works just fine.)

and, to finish it off (at the risk of being redundant in my entries) I just wrote a friend back home and thought it concluded things so nicely i'd take an exerpt to post here...for your viewing pleasure...

"france is big and full of french speaking ppl who try not to laugh at my horrendous accent and make heavenly croissants but haven't heard of dr. pepper :(they're all mostly skinny and they tend to stare; i've gotten used to it and actually like staring back, like we're toddlers or something who don't know any better. :) also they dress way cute and i've given up on reaching that level of fashion nirvana. but it's ok, cuz i'm american! one of the french guys wants to marry kate...i may have to beat them off of her; with her hair she's pretty exotic looking here. but other than beating french guys away from kate and staring at people and eating too many croissants and taking touristy boat rides by the eiffel tower, life is good. real good. i hope you can say the same."

ta da! alright, off do to crunches. bon soir mon amis!

I know who sleeps through classes.... especially philosophy ones.... YOU DO! and what are you going to do without a friend (ME) to sit next to you and give you a love nudge??? or take a scary look from the professor because somehow your sleeping means the friend is "irresponsible" or something....????

I kid way to much.
I love you and miss you... good luck with your CLASSES!!!! :)
